Dr. Ferrara obtained her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOMED) in 2002. She trained in pediatric medicine at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio, where she received Junior and Senior Resident Teaching Awards. She is the co-founder of Premium Pediatrics, Inc., which opened in 2005. In the past she served as Newborn Nursery Co-Director at Northside Hospital. Dr. Ferrara has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 2005, and is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics for the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ferrara graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, and completed her undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University. Her hobbies include: reading, puzzles, watching the Steelers, Cavs, Indians, Penguins, Buckeyes and relaxing with her husband and son.

Dr. Yocum is a life-long resident of the Mahoning Valley. After graduating from Boardman High School she attended Mount Union College. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She then attended Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOMED). After graduating in 2002, she completed her pediatric residency at Tod Children’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio where she also served as a Resident Supervisor. In 2005 she co-founded Premium Pediatrics, Inc. In addition, until 2018 she  worked with Dr. Ferrara as Co-Director of the Northside Hospital Newborn Nursery where she provides care for high risk deliveries and ill newborns. Dr. Yocum has been board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2005.

Jeff Walsh is a lifetime area resident. He is a certified Physician Assistant that has been serving our area since 2007 and has been at Premium Pediatrics since 2009. Jeff enjoys running and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. He received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2003, and he received his master’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 2007. He is also a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
